Recently I had need for some major dental treatment. After a lifetime of dreading dentists I was in need of dentures top and bottom. I was extremely fortunate that I made an appointment at 41 South Bar. I was treated by an exceptionally kind and thoughtful young man called Dr G Singh, he was very patient and understanding of me. He offered me excellent professional advice and care. I've just had my third appointment as the work has been completed and I am more than pleased with the results. Thank-you so very much Dr Singh, I'm not in the least worried about attending my future appointments.
I have had implants and a crown done by Tom. He and his team are fantastic, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Tom is highly skilled and the facilities at South Bar are second to none. The quality of Tom's work and his knowledge and expertise are superb. Staff are so friendly and Tom is so thoughtful about his work. A model dental practice.
We made an emergency visit to 41 South Bar Dentists, whilst on holiday passing through Banbury on a boat and I can say that the experience was excellent. Friendly people, receptionist, dentist and assistant, excellent service and environment. A great place to visit, if you have t o go to the dentists.
My close family now all go to South Bar. I have been coming for years and the treatment has been excellent. My mum changed to Tom earlier this year and has been so delighted. She said she wished she had changed years ago. Even my dental phobic daughter in law travels from Reading to the practice.

HIGHLY recommend these guys, If I rang one I ran 100 dental surgeries and no one could help me with the toothache from hell! These guys went out there way to fit me in, knowing I was in excruciating pain. Also, made the process as comfortable and painless as possible, ig I just found my new dentist!!!

"I am pretty worried when it comes to dentists. Yet I have a lot of cosmetic work that I would like doing. Before I can have my teeth straightened my regular dentist has told me I need two root canal treatments that I have been putting off for two years.
My dentist recommended Angel at Dentique who is a specialist and I’ve had the first RCT now. Angel was brilliant, he explained everything and even used gel to numb my gum before the injection. So I literally didn’t even feel a thing. Highly recommend anyone needing a root canal treatment to come and see Angel."

Do you accept new patients?
Yes - we welcome new patients and make the onboarding process simple. Just fill out the form above, and we’ll get you booked in.
What if I’m nervous about visiting the dentist?
You’re not alone - many patients are anxious. We take extra time, use gentle techniques, and explain everything clearly so you feel fully supported.
What happens during my first visit?
Your dentist will review your medical history, take a look at your teeth and gums, discuss any concerns, and recommend a personalised treatment plan.
How often should I come for a check-up?
We recommend at least one routine check-up + hygiene visit every 6-12 months (unless advised otherwise).
What if I haven’t been to the dentist in years?
That’s completely OK - we welcome patients returning after a long break. We’ll help you get back on track without judgement.
Do you offer emergency dental appointments?
Yes - we provide urgent care for pain, broken teeth, lost fillings and other unexpected problems.
Are your treatments suitable for older patients?
